Our 63 bedded nursing home offers specialist wings designed specially for those who require our care. Each room boasts of an individual Nurse Call System with en-suite toilet and shower facility. Killeline Nursing Home offers a general wing, an Alzheimer/Dementia Wing and an Acquired Brain Injury Unit. Killeline Nursing Home offers a 14 bedded Secure Alzheimer/Dementia Unit complete with it's own dining room, day room, enclosed garden and Nurse's Station. Our Alzheimer/Dementia Unit provides a safe and relaxing environment together with up to date facilities. Those who reside in our Alzheimer/Dementia Unit, have the option of joining in our weekly art, music and reminesince therapy sessions. ![]()
Killeline Acquired Brain Injury Facility Killeline Nursing Home offers an Acquired Brain Injury Facility that will provide a rehabilitation service to Munster & It's Surrounds. Here at Killeline Nursing Home, the management have become advocates for HEADWAY Ireland, who provide ABI services throughout the country. We are committed to fundraising and petitioning for the needs of ABI clients everywhere The 22 bedded Unit has it's own day room, dining room, Nurse's Station and mini-gym. Killeline A.B.I. Unit is also built on the same grounds as Killeline Leisure Centre, enabling our ABI clients access to the nearby swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Newcastlewest grew up around a castle, the ruins of which are located off the town square. Newcastlewest used to be called Castleroe, after a castle built there by the Knights Templars in 1184. It then became known as Newcastle, West Limerick and is currently called Newcastlewest. We are situated on the Cork Road, to Newcastlewest to Dromcolliher, in Killeline, Newcastlewest. ![]()
